Students Explore a Variety of Professions at Career Day

Ursuline Academy hosted a Career Day for high school students on March 25. Students had the opportunity to attend five sessions from 28 different speakers. The speakers represented a wide variety of occupations, including physicians, engineers, psychologists, entrepreneurs, educators, designers, photographers, attorneys, artists, veterinarians and more. The morning began with keynote speaker and Ursuline alumna Laura Arnette McPhail, owner and textile designer of Monkey Hill Apparel.

Career Day exposes our students to different career paths, while providing them with information on the education required for specific types of careers. It also allows them to observe the link between the classroom and the workplace and see how skills learned in school are applied on the job.

A big thank you to all of our career day speakers!
