Weber was unequivocally the Lions' catalyst last week when District 9-4A play got underway. Weber, a freshman, scored a game-leading 21 points in Ursuline's district opener against Ben Franklin on Monday.
Three nights later, she mustered up a 20-point game with 16 rebounds to down Riverdale. Both of those wins loom large, especially in the early portion of the 9-4A slate, as Ursuline is tied with district favorite Warren Easton for first place in the standings. Both teams boast 3-0 marks and will meet on Thursday night at 6 p.m.
Ursuline's 5-foot-11, 160-pound guard/forward is leading the team in scoring this season.
