Middle school students recently gathered to build, design, and of course, eat gingerbread houses as part of the Academy’s advisor/advisee program. They had a great time working together and really seemed to enjoy constructing – and deconstructing – their respective houses.
Each week, small groups of 5th-7th grade students meet with their appointed advisor. The program was created to help nurture the whole person, develop leadership skills in a small group setting, and provide spiritual, interpersonal, and academic guidance.
