Brazil Ursuline Students Visit UA

Six students and two chaperones from our sister school, the Instituto Nossa Senhora da Piedade in Ilheus, Brazil are in New Orleans and spending time at Ursuline. So far, they have visited our classrooms, explored the Audubon Zoo, experienced a swamp boat tour, and helped build a house in the Ninth Ward. (The house also happens to be the same one students from our sister school in London started working on this summer.) They are staying with Ursuline Academy of New Orleans host families and everyone seems to be having a great time. They have many more activities planned before their departure on October 17.

We are glad to have them here! We always enjoy getting to know students from our sister school around the world. (If you see them around, be sure to say hi!)
