Coach Juan Honored for 500th Win; Ursuline Defeats De La Salle
On September 19, 2014 Head Volleyball Coach Jay Jay Juan received his 500th career win. Coach Juan has won five district championships and three state championship at Ursuline Academy. He was honored at a volleyball game on October 7, where Ursuline took on (and defeated) De La Salle.
According to NOLA.com, “ …the Lions exhibited their potential and won the next three games defeating the Cavaliers, 25-27, 25-11, 25-13, 26-24, in front of a raucous crowd Tuesday night.”
