High School Students Receive MacBooks

As part of the Academy’s new 1:1 program, the first group of high school students received their MacBooks on August 21 after completing a training session on how to use and care for their new computers. They were also given protective cases – red for Sioux, blue for Skips and green for Macs. Every student in the high school will have a MacBook by August 25. Middle school students will receive their iPads the week of August 25.

Integrating this technology in the classroom will help engage students, offer powerful collaborative and in-class possibilities, and enhance twenty-first century skills.
